Day 1Pisaq – Ollantaytambo – Aguascalientes

Meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel at 8 am. then driving along 30 min. we reach to Taray view point, where you will see some snow-capped peaks which are part of the Vilcanota mountain range, also is possible to see the sacred river” Willcamayu” running through the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Then we go to Pisac archeological park where we will admire the complex system of terraces where the Incas had different variety of products, also here you will see one of the biggest Inca cemetery with more than 2000 tombs, also your guide will take you back to the Incas time with the fascinating histories, then we go to visit the colorful market of Pisac. After, we drive until Urubamba where your guide will suggest different restaurants to visit for lunch. 30 more minutes to reach to Ollantaytambo or also known by locals as” the last Inca living town” where the buildings retain their original Inca walls, it was one of the last Inca bastions to withstand the Spanish attack, after exploring the archeological park we go to take a 2-hour train ride until Aguas Calientes town. We arrive and we go to check-in in your comfortable hotel of choice.

Day 2Aguascalientes – Machupicchu – Aguascalientes - Cusco

We have been exploring the sacred valley also understanding about Inca history so today is turn of probably one of the most important places in the Incas time. After breakfast served in your hotel we will go to take the first bus (5:30 am.) towards Machupicchu, after 30 minutes by bus we go into Machupicchu archeological park to enjoy and explore the lost city of the Incas, right after getting into Machupicchu we go directly to the Classic view point to take the first Instagram pictures. After taking our time and enjoying Machupicchu in all its glory we start with our private tour. Over 2 hours exploring the highlights of Machupicchu. If you have Waynapicchu Mountain or Machupicchu mountain, your guide will take you to the entrance and will explain you about it. When you are ready take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, in the afternoon you.

Important info - BTG / BOLETO TURISTICO -TOURIST TICKET

You have the Option to Purchase a 2 Day or a 10 Day Boleto Turistico.

  • The partial ticket or 2-day ticket: costs 70 soles (US$22) and is valid for 2 days. You can visit many sites as you like in one day with no further charge; there are no discounts with this ticket.
  • The general ticket: costs 130 soles (US$43) and is valid for 10 days, allows you over the next 10 days to enter to 14 cultural and archeological sites in Cusco, the sacred valley and south valley.
  • The cost for students under 25 (with the presentation of a valid ISIC card) and for teenagers under 18 (with the presentation of an identity card) is 70 soles (US $20). Children under 11 are free.
  • The tickets for Saqsayhuaman, Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Moray, etc. Cannot be sold individually, you must buy the Boleto Turistico, and you must pay in soles, no credit cards or US dollars are accepted.
