This itinerary was designed for those who want to travel in a connection with the Andean Culture, exploring the Sacred valley of the Incas, Cusco city and the lost city of the Incas “Machupicchu”. Every day you will explore incredible archaeological sites, places with locals that still keeping their ancient customs and wearing their traditional and colorful suits. Visit the bohemian streets of Cusco where beside de plazas and cobblestone streets you will find a traditional Market; San Pedro Market is famous due to keep the traditional sales system at open-air.

Meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel at 8 am. then driving along 30 min. we reach to Taray view point, where you will see some snow-capped peaks which are part of the Vilcanota mountain range, also is possible to see the sacred river” Willcamayu” running through the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Then we go to Pisac archeological park where we will admire the complex system of terraces where the Incas had different variety of products, also here you will see one of the biggest Inca cemetery with more than 2000 tombs, also your guide will take you back to the Incas time with the fascinating histories, then we go to visit the colorful market of Pisac. After, we drive until Urubamba where your guide will suggest different restaurants to visit for lunch. 30 more minutes to reach to Ollantaytambo or also known by locals as” the last Inca living town” where the buildings retain their original Inca walls, it was one of the last Inca bastions to withstand the Spanish attack, after exploring the archeological park we go to take a 2-hour train ride until Aguas Calientes town. We arrive and we go to check-in in your comfortable hotel of choice.
We have been exploring the sacred valley also understanding about Inca history so today is turn of probably one of the most important places in the Incas time. After breakfast served in your hotel we will go to take the first bus (5:30 am.) towards Machupicchu, after 30 minutes by bus we go into Machupicchu archeological park to enjoy and explore the lost city of the Incas, right after getting into Machupicchu we go directly to the Classic view point to take the first Instagram pictures. After taking our time and enjoying Machupicchu in all its glory we start with our private tour. Over 2 hours exploring the highlights of Machupicchu. If you have Waynapicchu Mountain or Machupicchu mountain, your guide will take you to the entrance and will explain you about it. When you are ready take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, in the afternoon you.
Today we get acquainted with Cusco, your guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel at 8 am. We take the van to the northwest of Cusco (over 15 min.) upon our arrival to Saqsayhuaman we will be taken to wander among the megalithic remains of this Inca site, our expert guide will explain us the history and we will learn why the historians consider to this place as the head of the ancient puma city (Cusco), here the Incas staged a great battle against the conquistadors. Going back to the city we visit a traditional neighborhood of San Blas with its gorgeous cobblestone streets where we find the famous 12-angle stone, we continue towards Qoricancha and Santo Domingo Monastery (a colonial structure built on top of the Inca temple of the sun). Explore and we will understand why this was the most important place in the Incas time. It´s time to continue through the atmospheric streets passing some plazas until we reach to San Pedro Market, where locals offer and run their products at the open air. At the end of your trip your guide will suggest you some places to visit for lunch.
